Little Girl

There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good she was very good
But when she was bad she would transform into a flesh eating monster ready to devour those who have wronged her

One bright day
While Father was away
Brother lured her out to the garden shed
He locked her right in but much to his chagrin
The monster within made light work of the door and all that was left of brother was a smear on the floor

When Father returned
He was saddened to learn
The plight of his first born babe
He grounded his daughter though he shouldn’t have aught to
For as he leant to tuck her in that night she ripped his head off leaving his body writhing on the floor

Though all of this
I imagine you missed
Mother cowering in the corner
For right from the start she saw her girl’s heart
So hid herself in the cupboard to avoid the wrath of this evil creature

But alas and alack
This would not stop the attack
For the girl was a girl no more
The monster searched high and the monster searched low
Until poor mother was nought but bones littered across the landing floor.
